    That’s why we direct bill for most Canadian insurance providers at the beginning of your appointment, so you do not have to worry about your coverage and can focus on what matters: your vision care.

    Please bring your insurance card information to your appointment and check with your provider that you are covered for your visit with us.

  • We only direct bill your primary insurance coverage to protect you.

    We do not offer coordination of benefits at our clinic, or direct billing two or more partial insurance coverage plans. This prevents your claims from being rejected.

    At the beginning of your appointment, we will direct bill your primary insurance provider. Then, we will get you to pay any remaining balance and give you a copy of your invoice to submit to your secondary insurance provider for reimbursement.

  • Are you a student, OR have coverage with the First Nations Health Authority/Indian Affairs or with the Alberta Government?

    If you are a student, please bring your student ID card to your appointment so we can direct bill your student insurance plan.

    If you are a First Nations, Métis, or Inuit person with insurance coverage through Indian Affairs, please bring your status number to your appointment.

    If you have coverage under disability assistance, social services, or Assured Income For The Severely Handicapped (AISH), please bring your provincial healthcare card and any additional insurance information you have to your appointment.
